SOE Unexpectedly Shuts Down ALL Online Games

Just in case you were not aware, ALL SOE online games have been indefinitely shut down due to an unauthorized database intrusion. So, obviously, that means that we cannot log in to Everquest 2. There are a lot of rumors swirling around the internet. From what I have gathered from the most "reliable" of unofficial sources, it seems EQ2 will be down until at least Friday. Maybe sooner. Maybe later. To compensate SOE current subscribers, we will receive a days credit for each day the servers are offline PLUS another 30 days free added to that. That part is official and found on just about any of the SOE sites when you try to access them. So, rest assured, it's not just you that cannot log in! In the meantime, may I suggest keeping in touch here in the forums? Laughing

A Change Of Hats For One Of Our Most Beloved

It is with a heavy heart that I am asked to accept the resignation of Odium as co-leader of our Legion of Truthseekers. It is per his request that this change is taking place and in no way reflects upon his relationship with the guild. He has informed me that he feels that the guild needs to head in whatever direction it heads...without him at the helm. We all go through times in our lives when our priorities change. This is a famiy guild and family will always remain at the forefront of our responsibilites and desires for success. It goes without saying, but I will say it anyway, that this guild owes nothing short of it's very survival to Odium. Granted that most of us were not here during the uneasy days of The Legion that led him to place is uneager behind upon the throne that he has warmed for the past few years. The guild has seen good days, great days and some downright boring days. But, Odium stayed true to the course and somehow kept his wonderful wit about himself. He was one of the major deciding factors in the merger of our two guilds, House al Nasir and The Legion of Truthseekers. Without his leadership and open arms and the ability to put up with a tree hugging hippie elf as a co-leader, who knows where we all would be? I have met some of the best people I know due to that merger and this guild and for that alone, I humbly remove my helm, drop to one knee, bow my head and whisper through this massive lump in my throat...."Thank you....thank you....thank you....than....."

The Legion of Truthseekers hits level 60!

Thanks to everyone's hard work and diligence, The Legion of Truthseekers reached the 60th level today! We have more room in our guild bank and have opened up the War-Barbed Horse mounts for purchase. This is a wonderful achievement for a family guild and it shows the character of our members. Join us as we continue on to level 65!

Here we grow again! All Hail Gemo!

With the amount of higher level characters that we have within the Legion and the fact that Sony has re-activated all accounts in good standing, we anticipate a desire to do bigger and better things as a guild. The leadership has taken a step in the proper direction to make sure that everyone of all levels has an opportunity to group and grow with your family here in Norrath. So at this time it is with great honor and privilege to announce the promotion of Gemo to the ranks of Officer within The Legion of Truthseekers! The initial plan is to schedule adventuring nights for all levels, such as "instances" and City Raids. With the changes that have taken place in the leaderships real life commitments, mainly Odium and myself, it is of utmost importance that someone knowledgeable of newer and higher level content be available to those in need. Gemo is such a frog Wink Odium and I will be working hand in hand with Gemo and the other officer core to bring a rejuvenated grouping atmosphere to the Legion. So keep checking the boards here for planned events and requests for help! Let's all do our part to help each other enjoy the game to the fullest extent that we are capable. In the meantime, raise your glasses and tip your hats to a well deserved promotion to our dear friend and new officer Gemo! HAIL!

Highest Legion Honor Bestowed Upon Nordom!

On January 27th, 2008, The highest honor and rank, that of "Seeker", was formally presented to Nordom at our Winter Bash! It was agreed upon by all of the leadership that Nordom's length of service, wonderful interaction with guildmates, his eagerness to help in anyway possible (how many of us are wearing his leather?  Wink ) are just a few of his traits that made this such an honor for US to promote him to Seeker. He is a true definition of what a Truthseeker is. Thank you Nordom for all you do for us. It is an honor to have you with us. ALL HAIL Nordom!!

Much Love, Sloke
